- Follow me on my journey to better hearing. I have had a hearing loss for as long as I can remember. After being sick with Meningitis at the age of 14 months old, my parents discovered my hearing loss shortly thereafter. I was fitted with hearing aids and the rest is history. Presently I've been struggling with ear infections (maybe) and a greater loss in hearing to the point of needing to be evaluated for a Cochlear Implant (CI). This has been stressful and frustrating- so join me in my trials and triumphs as I go through this process! Feel free to ask me as many questions- I LOVE answering questions.
